Trust, Relationships and Loyalty
After more than 20 years in business I have learn’t that your business life shouldn’t be any different than your private life. How so you say?
“Remember, we all stumble, every one of us. That’s why it’s a comfort to go hand in hand.” ~Emily Kimbrough
Just like in your personal life we often have disappointments, setbacks in our business lives as well. Whether you are a senior executive, or on your first day at a new job or business – Remember to be the sunshine not the rain.
Isn’t it wonderful when someone gives you encouragement or help. Be honest, quick to listen and slow to speak.
“So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you” Mathew 7:12
Acknowledge, treasure and remember those who help you. Even more important – help those who may need it most. Who knows – one day your generosity will be repaid in ways you never knew possible.
Possibly the most important lesson of all – as you are building personal and business relationships – be very careful who you choose as your trusted partners.
My dad taught me very early on in my career – surround yourself with good people.
“Birds of a feather flock together” John Minsheu
